FeedBack Sheets

The feedback we received for our presentation consisted of positive and negative comments,
one point the majority of the class had was creating the plasticine models. However my group feel confident i  the abilities we have to make them a good quality. We also feel we will succeed in the stop motion as we will be putting in a lot of time and ensuring each shot is accurate. Another point made involved the age of our target audience, this has made us realise we will need to go back and research who our band will appeal to; even though our audience research did present a positive aspect of the audience we had selected. My next intension from this feedback is going to be creating the models for the music video and doing several test shots to understand how the stop motion will work.

Journal - Track Listing

In todays lesson my group created the track listing for our digipak, to get ideas and inspiration we simply typed the word indie into the internet and looked at what words was based around it. When we found and interesting word we developed it into a unique sing title....
1. Blown to pieces
2. Crawling
3. Bohemian like you
4. Exiled
5. Contemporary misfortune
6. Split in conversation
7. Lying on the grass
8. Falling into abis
We want the names to create a exciting and curious feeling for our audience to draw them into the band, and to encourage them to buy the digipak.

Journal - Digipak Planning

Here are some drawings of my digipak idea, even I am still unsure on the colour scheme and font I feel I have a better understanding when it comes to what images I need. My next intension will be to begin experimenting and creating my first digipak draft.

Journal - Idea Discussion

Today we decided to brainstorm ideas, this helped everyone understand each others ideas and will be a good aspect to refer back to when storyboarding.

Journal - Drum images

Today I went to a friend's house in order to photograph a drum set for my digipak, I was faced with a problem which involved a reflection within the drum; to overcome this problem I experimented from many angles to see what was most successful. I am now planning on editing the background to make it plain white, this will make it easier to position when using it on my digipak.
My next intension is to photograph my keyboard and then a guitar.

Journal- Continuing to consider digipak idea's

In today's lesson I began to think about what each panel of my digipak will contain. Even though I am still uncertain on the final idea I feel this planning has helped me understand what my digipak must have.
My next intension involved capturing photos of musical instruments and to further explore ideas for my digipak.

Audience Profile

I created an audience profile to understand who my video will be targeting, it also helped present specific aspects which will contribute when creating the music video.

- Play dough band members
- Musical instruments
What equipment will I need?
